Bernadette Fernandez

Bernadette Fernandez is a seasoned professional dedicated to promoting peace education and community resilience. As a Founding Member and Senior Peace Mission Leader at Teach Peace Build Peace Movement INC since 2013, Bernadette spearheads initiatives for children in various conflict zones. Bernadette also initiated Peace Hero Kids TV, an online platform focused on peace education for elementary students. Currently, Bernadette serves as a Generation Change Fellow at the United States Institute of Peace, a Professional Fellow with the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative, and a Rising Star Mentor at Wedu. Additionally, Bernadette contributes as a Peace Agent with Peace Revolution and previously held roles at Asia America Initiative and GroupAid Support Systems Inc. Academic credentials include training in Peace Agent methodologies and an Executive Course in Gender-based Violence in Emergencies.
