Imrana Alhaji Buba

Generation Change Facilitator at United States Institute of Peace

Imrana Alhaji Buba is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo, where doctoral studies in Political Science are ongoing. Alhaji Buba also serves as a Peace and Security Fellow at the AU-EU Youth Cooperation Hub and as a Generation Change Fellow and Facilitator at the United States Institute of Peace. As the Founder of the Youth Initiative Against Terrorism, leadership and innovation in youth engagement have been demonstrated from 2010 to 2021. Additional roles include Youth Engagement (Rural Resilience) at Mercy Corps, Nigeria Field Researcher at ODI, and Conflict Sensitivity at International Alert. Alhaji Buba's academic background encompasses a PhD in Political Science from the University of Oslo, an MSc in Africa and International Development from The University of Edinburgh, and a BSc in Political Science from the University of Maiduguri.
