Philippe Leroux-Martin

Director Governance, Justice And Security at United States Institute of Peace

Philippe Leroux-Martin's work experience includes being the Director of Governance, Justice and Security at the United States Institute of Peace since 2015. Prior to that, they were a Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government from 2010 to 2014. Philippe also served as the Head of the Legal Department at ICO-EUSR The International Civilian Office - European Union Special Representative in 2008-2009 and as the Head of the Public Law Unit at the Office of the High Representative from 2003 to 2008.

Philippe Leroux-Martin has a strong educational background in law and public policy. Philippe began their education at the Université de Montréal, where they obtained a Law degree (LL.B). Following this, they pursued further studies in the field of law at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.). Later, Leroux-Martin expanded their knowledge in public policy and administration at the Harvard Kennedy School, where they pursued a Master in Public Administration (MPA) focusing on Public Policy and Public Administration.
