Brian Koo is a Senior Investigative Attorney at the U.S. International Trade Commission, a position held since 2012, where representation of public interest in Section 337 cases is a key responsibility. Brian serves as the lead trial attorney in numerous cases across diverse product categories, including telecommunications, satellite communications, automotive components, memory technology, LEDs, and biopharmaceuticals. Prior to joining the Commission, Brian worked at Sidley Austin LLP from 2005 to 2012, gaining broad experience in patent litigation in federal district courts. Brian holds a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University.
