Gohar Sedrakyan, PhD, MBA, and MSEcon, currently serves as an International Economist at the U.S. International Trade Commission since August 2023. Previously, Gohar held various positions at Kennesaw State University from August 2020 to September 2023, including Assistant Professor of Economics and Visiting Scholar at the Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity. Experience also includes a role as Teaching Instructor at Agnes Scott College and Senior Research Associate at the International Center for Public Policy at Georgia State University. Gohar's earlier career involved significant contributions as a Senior Tax Economist in Armenia, overseeing taxpayer communication, and supervising Master’s dissertations at Yerevan State University. Gohar's educational background includes a PhD in Economics from Yerevan State University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Georgia State University.
