Paul Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Paul started their career in 2004 as an Audiovisual Technician at Dyal Productions Events. After that, they worked as a Desktop Support Specialist at The University of Texas at Austin from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they transitioned to TOPIA English Academy where they served as a Native English Teacher for a year. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Network Technician at IT Freedom. In 2013, they joined the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a Teaching Assistant and later became a Performance Analyst for the Women's Soccer team. Paul Anderson then moved to the U.S. Soccer Federation in 2014, where they held various roles including Coaching Education Coordinator, Manager of Technology, Senior Solution Architect - Sport Development, and their current position as Director - Sport Development Technology.

Paul Anderson holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theatre from The University of Texas at Austin in 2008. In terms of certifications, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021. Additionally, they hold a U.S. Soccer National "D" Coaching License, obtained in 2014.
