William Schlichting

William Schlichting, MBA, is an experienced leader in the steel industry with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, William serves as Director of Process Innovation and previously held the position of Senior Process Health Consultant at United States Steel Corporation since 2018. William also holds the role of Director for Powder & Granular Products at SKW Stahl-Metallurgie Holding AG and has contributed significantly as President of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST). William's extensive background includes leadership positions at United States Steel in various managerial capacities, where process enhancements and operational efficiency were key contributions.
