Rick Sauer

Rick Sauer has extensive experience in labor relations and collective bargaining within the United Steelworkers (USW) organization, currently serving as a Staff Representative since February 2016. In addition to this role, Rick has held the position of Vice President at the Capital District Area Labor Federation since 2009 and previously served as President and Financial Officer for United Steelworkers Local 17 from January 1996 to September 2016, focusing on labor relations with Saint-Gobain Abrasives and Lydall, Inc. Prior experience includes working as a USW/TMC Trainer, specializing in safety training. Rick's educational background includes attendance at Schenectady County Community College and the Junior College of Albany.
