Kathryn Brown

Kathryn Brown has extensive experience in engineering and project management within the biomedicine field. Currently serving as Project Manager and Project Engineer at United Therapeutics Corporation since March 2017, Kathryn focuses on regenerative medicine and xenotransplantation operations, overseeing the conceptual design and engineering of equipment and processes related to cellular therapies and organ replacement solutions. Prior roles include Medical Device Engineer in Design Assurance, Application Engineer at AKG of America, and Undergraduate Product Design Engineer at DialySensors, alongside an internship as a Research and Design Engineer at Harpoon Medical, Inc. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, obtained in 2015.
