Gemma Talbot

Gemma Talbot has extensive work experience in the tax industry. Gemma began their career as an Admin/Resourcer at Kinetic Recruitment in 2003. In 2004, they joined Ernst & Young as a Tax Advisor and stayed with the company until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, Gemma worked as a Tax Manager at BDO. Gemma then moved to BDO LLP, where they served as a Tax Senior Manager from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Gemma joined EY as a Tax Senior Manager and eventually became a Tax Director, holding this position until 2022. Gemma is currently the Head of Tax at United Utilities.

Gemma Talbot attended the University of Leeds from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained their LLB degree in Law. Prior to that, they studied at Winstanley College from 1998 to 2000. Gemma also has additional certifications, including an Advanced Diploma of International Tax from the Chartered Institute of Tax, and a Chartered Accountant qualification.
