Morlie Patel has a diverse work experience spanning various fields and organizations. From 2021 onwards, they have worked as the Director of Civic & Partner Engagement at the United Way of Metro Chicago. Previously, from 2018 to 2021, they served as the Associate Director at the Chinese Mutual Aid Association. Morlie also held the position of Deputy Director of External Affairs at the Cook County Sheriff's Office in Chicago from 2011 to 2017, where they focused on public policy and performance management initiatives. In 2013, they were a Fellow at the New Leaders Council, where they received training in multiple skills and engaged with civic and business leaders. Earlier in their career, Morlie worked at Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers in the financial services sector.
Morlie Patel completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Political Science from the University of Michigan from 1999 to 2003. Following this, from 2003 to 2004, Morlie pursued a Master's degree in Accounting at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
