Teresa Evans

Teresa Evans, SHRM-SCP, serves as the Vice President and Head of Human Capital at United Way of New York City since October 2018, overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, and employee engagement. Prior to this role, Teresa held the position of Human Resources Director and Business Partner at Freedom Mortgage, focusing on HR for Corporate Functions and divisions. Additionally, Teresa worked as an HR Director and Diversity Manager at Chartis, specializing in employee relations and recruitment while promoting diversity and inclusion. Previous experience includes serving as Employee Relations Director at CIBC and VP of Employee Relations at GreenPoint Bank.
