Matt Burdette has extensive work experience in the field of global security and intelligence. Matt is currently working as the Director of Global Security at UnitedHealthcare Global since 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Chief of Intelligence - Global Risk at UnitedHealthcare Global for 14 years, where they led a team of 17 analysts and provided consulting on international risk mitigation and threat analysis for multinational corporations. Before joining UnitedHealthcare Global, they worked as a Senior Manager - Intelligence at ASI Group, where they supervised the intelligence division and managed client requests. Matt also has experience working at Air Security International, where they served as a Senior Analyst/Manager and an Intelligence Analyst, responsible for managing a team of analysts and providing tailored briefings and updates on travel security.
Matt Burdette attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 1987 to 1991, where they received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. Matt then pursued further education at the same university from 1991 to 1994, earning their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in US History (US National Security).
