Nadhia A.

Nadhia A.'s work experience includes their current role as Head Of Legal at UnitedHealthcare Global starting in January 2022. Nadhia also serves as a Board Member at Scottish Ballet since March 2022. Before their current positions, they worked at Cigna as Lead Counsel, Partnerships & Projects from April 2020 to November 2021, and as European Legal Counsel from September 2015 to March 2020. Prior to Cigna, Nadhia was a Group Counsel at The Weir Group PLC from December 2011 to August 2015, with an additional role as Acting General Counsel - Asia Pacific for a brief period in February 2014. Nadhia was also a Local Organising Committee Member at Commonwealth Lawyers Association from July 2013 to April 2015. Earlier in their career, Nadhia worked as a Corporate Solicitor at Levy & McRae Solicitors from September 2010 to November 2011, and as a Trainee Solicitor at MacRoberts from September 2008 to September 2010. Nadhia also participated in the Saltire Programmes as a Saltire Scholar in 2006.

Nadhia A. started their education at the University of Glasgow in 2003, where they pursued a degree in Law. Nadhia completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons) in 2007. Following this, in 2007-2008, Nadhia attended the Glasgow Graduate School of Law to obtain a Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip. L.P.).

In terms of additional certifications, Nadhia earned the In House Counsel Certified (ICC) from the Association of Corporate Counsel in March 2019. In April 2013, they obtained a certification in Hydraulic Fracturing: Law and Technology from the University of Dundee, Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy.
