Anika Patel

Anika Patel is currently serving as a Research Assistant I at Unity Health Toronto, focusing on Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia and data analysis for drug trials. Anika holds the position of Director of Marketing and Recruitment Associate at the DeGroote Finance & Investment Council, where responsibilities include evaluating resumes and providing feedback. Previous experience includes roles as an Accounting Delegate at JDCC DeGroote and an Operations Intern for Burlington's Sound of Music Festival Inc., where Anika improved social media engagement significantly. Additionally, Anika has worked as an Aquatics Instructor and Financial Literacy Instructor at TAC Sports, a Lifeguard at LIV North Inc., and a Math and English Assistant Teacher at Kumon North America. Anika is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Integrated Business and Humanities at McMaster University, with an upcoming educational stint at the University of Copenhagen.
