Stéfan Landis

Strategic Alliances Technical Director at UnitySC

Stéfan Landis has a diverse work experience in the field of lithography and nanofabrication. Stéfan began their career in 2001 as a Junior Researcher in Electron Beam Lithography at CEA-LETI Nanoelectronics department. During this time, they focused on Ultra High Resolution Ebeam Lithography process development for CMOS applications and NanoImprint Lithography process development for 200 mm wafer.

In 2004, Stéfan joined Leti as a Project Manager on Nanoimprint Lithography, where they were responsible for starting up the NanoImprint Lithography Activities in LETI clean room. Stéfan managed projects and collaborated with CNRS/LTM Lab for NIL activities.

Over the next few years, Stéfan took on various roles at Leti, including Senior Expert, Project Manager, and Group Leader for Massively Parallel Electron Beam Lithography. Stéfan also worked as a Startup Project Manager, focusing on developing a portable solution to detect chemical contaminants in liquids based on Raman Spectroscopy.

In 2018, Stéfan worked as a Patterning Solution Business Development Manager at Leti, where they were responsible for service solution development for master/working stamp manufacturing used in NanoImprint Lithography.

Currently, Stéfan is working as a Strategic Alliances Technical Director at UnitySC, a position they started in 2023.

In addition to their work in the industry, Stéfan also founded and served as CEO of Blue in the Box from 2020 to 2022. During this time, they designed and built a contactless tabletop machine to sanitize personal belongings or small objects from Covid-19.

Overall, Stéfan Landis has extensive experience in lithography engineering, project management, business development, and strategic alliances.

Stéfan Landis earned a Master's degree in Physics from Grenoble INP - UGA in 1998. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Solid Physics, Quantum & Statistical Physics, Light & Matter Interaction from Université Grenoble Alpes, which they completed in 1998-1998. Subsequently, Stéfan went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Magnetism & Solid State Physics from Université Grenoble Alpes, which they completed in the years 1998-2001.
