Xinyi Tang has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. In 2018, they worked as a Summer Assurance Intern at EY. The following year, they were a Summer Project Analyst at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. In 2020, Xinyi served as a Taxes & Customs Intern at Volkswagen Group China. xinyi then interned as a Marketing Intern at Universal Beijing Resort in 2021. In 2022, Xinyi became an Internal Auditor at Huawei, and in 2023, they assumed the role of Regional Financial Controller at Huawei Latinoamérica.

Xinyi Tang completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Public Accounting with an Economics Minor from the University of Toronto from 2016 to 2020. During the same period, Xinyi also attended the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.

In 2018, Xinyi participated in the Summer Abroad Program at Università degli Studi di Siena, focusing on Labor and Industrial Relations.

Following their undergraduate studies, Xinyi pursued a Master of Financial Analysis degree in Accounting and Finance at the UNSW Business School from 2020 to 2022.

Additionally, Xinyi obtained two additional certifications. In July 2022, they completed the Inside LVMH certification from LVMH. In April 2022, they obtained the Introduction to ESG certification from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI).
