Charlie Cohen

Charlie Cohen is an experienced QA Test Engineer at Universal Audio since August 2018 and the owner and recording engineer at Charcoh Studio since July 2016. Cohen has served as Front of House sound engineer and live recording engineer at Kuumbwa Jazz Center since August 2014, and has worked as a sound technician at the Monterey International Pop 50 festival in June 2017. Additional experience includes an independent contractor role as a sound designer for Ford Motor Company, live sound engineering at The Crepe Place, and assisting the monitor engineer at the Santa Cruz Mountain Sol Festival. Cohen's early career involved cooking positions and contributing to a short documentary video for Adobe as a composer and event helper. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Technology from California Institute of the Arts and a high school degree in Web Design and Audio Engineering from Freestyle Academy of Communication Arts and Technology.
