Courtney DelPo, PhD, is a Research Scientist at Universal Display Corporation since February 2023, having previously completed a PhD in Chemistry and Materials Science at Princeton University from August 2018 to February 2023, under the guidance of Professor Gregory Scholes. During this time, Courtney developed a framework for interpreting spectroscopic signatures of hybrid light-matter polariton states and improved charge generation in organic solar cells. Prior experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant for Advanced General Chemistry at Princeton, a Peer Tutor and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Ursinus College, and an Undergraduate Researcher in a National Science Foundation program, focusing on pore-blocking events in carbon nanotubes and molecular dynamics simulations of hydrophobic compounds. Courtney earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Ursinus College in 2018.
