Jon Ashton Csmtpe

Jon Ashton CSMTPE has extensive experience in engineering and process development, particularly in the areas of SMT applications. Currently serving as an SMT Process Engineer at Universal Instruments Corporation since September 2019, Jon specializes in dispense applications, focusing on facilitating customer needs for smaller pitches and ruggedized products. Previously, Jon worked as an Associate Process Engineer at Vergent Products, where responsibilities included translating engineering documents into production documentation and supporting advanced programming for various platforms. Additional roles at RPM Technology involved creating assembly documentation and managing engineering change orders, while earlier experience at Advanced Energy included assembly, testing, and document control.
