Dan Donovan

Dan Donovan has over three decades of work experience, primarily in the tourism and entertainment industry. Dan is currently employed as the Senior Director of Talent Orchestration at Universal Destinations & Experiences since July 2023. Prior to their current role, Dan served as the Senior Director of Destination Sales at Universal Orlando Resort from June 2019 to the present. Dan also held various positions at the same company, including Senior Director of Universal Parks & Resorts from September 2009 to June 2019, Director of In-Market Sales from January 2005 to September 2009, Senior Manager of In-Market Sales from March 2002 to January 2005, Manager of In-Market Sales from April 1998 to March 2002, and Senior Representative of In-Market Sales from September 1997 to April 1998. Before joining Universal Orlando Resort, Dan worked as the Sales Director at Suncoast Representation Services from December 1990 to September 1997.

Dan Donovan has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Dan obtained this degree from 1981 to 1985. Dan also has a Master of Arts degree in Applied Learning & Instruction from the University of Central Florida's College of Community Innovation & Education. Dan completed this program from 2022 to 2025.

In terms of certifications, Dan Donovan has obtained several additional certifications. In March 2019, they became a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. In April 2023, they obtained certifications in "Creating a Culture of Learning," "Employee Experience," and "Employee Experience in a Hybrid Business World" from LinkedIn.
