David Shepherd

David Shepherd is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Finance at Universal Pictures since June 2018, David previously held the position of Senior Manager, FP&A at Current, powered by GE, from September 2016 to June 2018. Prior to that, David worked at NBCUniversal, Inc. in roles including Senior Manager and Manager of Ad Sales Finance from February 2013 to August 2016. David began a career at GE, participating in the Corporate Audit Staff program from September 2010 to January 2013, and earlier in the Financial Management Program at GE Aviation, with various rotational assignments from July 2008 to August 2010. David also gained early exposure through co-op positions at GE Sensing, GE Healthcare, and Fidelity Investments. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Marketing from Northeastern University, completed in 2008.
