Ray Sandhu

Ray Sandhu has extensive experience in finance and administration roles in various industries. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Financial Analyst at Wajax Industries until 1998, followed by a role as an Assistant Controller at Can-Cell Industries Inc until 1999. From 1999 to 2004, they worked at Fountain Tire, first as an Accounting Manager and then as the Director of Finance. Ray then moved to Willbros in 2005, where they served as the Corporate Controller and later as the Vice President of Finance and Administration. In 2008, they joined Flint Energy Services as the Vice President of Finance & Treasurer, and later as the Senior Vice President of Finance & Information Technologies. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at URS Corporation, where they held the positions of Senior Vice President Corporate Services - Oil and Gas and Executive Vice President - Finance & Administration - Oil and Gas. Most recently, they have been the Chief Financial Officer at Universal Rail Systems Ltd since June 2015.

Ray Sandhu completed an MBA in Business Administration from Queen's University from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1993, they obtained a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) degree in Accounting from the Society of Management Accountants of Alberta. In addition to their formal education, Ray also obtained a certification in "How to Resolve Conflict and Boost Productivity through Deep Listening" from LinkedIn in December 2022.
