Steffen Johansen

Steffen Johansen is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in research and development. Currently serving as Tech Lead for robot powertrain and mechanics at Universal Robots since June 2015, Steffen has played a key role in developing leading collaborative industrial robots. Prior experience includes progressing through R&D Engineer roles at Davinci Developments, Electrolux Home Products, Riegens A/S, Wittenborg A/S, and Poul Johansen Development A/S, where Steffen contributed to various product developments ranging from lighting fixtures to high-end kitchen appliances and coffee vending machines. Steffen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark, obtained in 1995.
