Aaron Hamm

Aaron Hamm has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Aaron started their career at Verizon, where they served as a Team Leader and later as a Service Manager & Interim Manager, overseeing major clients and managing the installation of fiber optic transmission lines and network systems.

Aaron then transitioned to The Canaan Group, where they held the position of Financial Officer/Principal. In this role, they were responsible for budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting practices, as well as overseeing the approval and execution of performance contracts and managing leases and service contracts.

After that, Aaron worked at Charles County Government as a Right-of-Way Agent and later as a Project Manager II, where they handled project management responsibilities.

Most recently, Aaron has been with Universal Service Administrative Co. (USAC), where they have held various positions, including Senior Director of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing. In this role, they lead the creation and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives, manages the Procurement department team, and develops relationships with key internal and external clients.

Aaron Hamm attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Acquisitions and Supply Chain Management. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they completed a Master's Certificate in Contract Management at The George Washington University School of Business. Their undergraduate degree was earned from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2006 and 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance. Additionally, between 2001 and 2007, Aaron Hamm completed a Master's Certificate in Project Management at The George Washington University School of Business.
