Sonia C. Mason

Sonia C. Mason joined Universal Technical Institute in July 2020 as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She brings to the role more than 20 years of experience in human resources, benefits, employee relations and labor relations management, and has held leadership roles in the retail, manufacturing, restaurant, and healthcare sectors. Most recently, she led Human Resources for Mesa Airlines, a regional airline. Mason earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute.
