Borja Guerra

Borja Guerra is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where a career includes roles as Assistant Professor and Associate Lecturer in Pharmacology since January 2005. Previous postdoctoral research includes projects funded by various institutions, focusing on the effects of Pilates on lumbar-pelvic muscle volume and integrating obesity and metabolic syndrome research. Borja Guerra has also contributed to preclinical development of anti-cancer drugs at both Centro Atlántico del Medicamento and the Canary Islands Cancer Research Institute. Educational background includes a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology and a BSc in Cellular and Molecular Biology, both from Universidad de La Laguna.
