Diego Winkelried

Diego Winkelried is a distinguished academic and professional in the field of economics, currently serving as the Chair of the Department of Finance and a lecturer in the Master in Economics program at Universidad del Pacífico since January 2010. With a robust background in econometrics, Diego has taught advanced econometric courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels at esteemed institutions, including the University of Cambridge, where a PhD and MPhil in Economics were also obtained. Prior experience includes leading the Macroeconomic Models Department at the Central Reserve Bank of Peru from 2010 to 2014, focusing on macroeconomic forecasting and risk assessment, as well as roles in economic analysis and teaching at Banco Central de Reserva del Perú and Universidad del Pacífico.
