Matias Caamaño is an accomplished professional with expertise in economic development, research, and public policy. Currently serving as the Coordinador de Desarrollo Estratégico at CORFO, Matias also holds a position as an Assistant Professor at Universidad Finis Terrae, specializing in macroeconomics and economic policies. Prior roles include Director de Estudios Aplicados e Innovación at Consejo del Salmón AG, where Matias led applied studies for the salmon industry, and Independent Consultant at Conecta Logistica, focusing on human capital gaps in logistics. Matias has extensive experience within various government ministries, including roles as Head of Scientific Capacities and Community Office at the Ministry of Science, as well as economic advisor and research assistant in the General Secretariat of the Presidency and the Ministry of Economy.
