Andrea Basso

Andrea Basso is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of SAlt Biotech, a consultancy focused on biotechnology, particularly in the in vitro production of mammalian embryos, a position held since October 2020. In addition to this role, Andrea Basso serves as an Associate Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidade Federal de Pelotas, working on the Oncopig Project, which aims to develop a biological model for cancer studies. Previous experience includes serving as a Business Partner at Stroebech IVF Universe from September 2020 to April 2021 and Director at In Vitro Brasil from January 2007 to October 2018. Academic credentials include ongoing postdoctoral research at Universidade Federal de Pelotas and a degree from FMVZ/USP, complemented by studies at FCAV/UNESP.
