Sharon Auma Owuor

Sharon Auma Owuor has experience as a Research Officer at KEMRI - Wellcome Trust, where Sharon Auma worked on establishing a pipeline for the generation and testing of HIV-specific monoclonal antibodies. Sharon Auma also worked on identifying merozoite targets of protective immunity against Plasmodium falciparum malaria. Prior to this, Sharon Auma completed their Master's degree in Biotechnology at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, where their thesis project focused on the genetic diversity and polymorphisms in the heat shock protein 70 gene of domesticated rabbits in Kenya. Sharon Auma also holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
