Ineza Remy Mugenga

Ineza Remy Mugenga is a skilled research engineer currently engaged at Université de La Réunion since November 2021, focusing on long-term WRF simulations to evaluate solar and wind energy potential. Previously, Ineza served as a research scholar at ICRISAT from May 2021 to October 2021, specializing in satellite data pre-processing, vegetation index estimation, rice crop monitoring, anomaly detection, and spatial-temporal variability while based in Dakar. Prior to that, Ineza worked as an operations researcher at BRALIRWA Plc., part of the Heineken Company, optimizing warehouse operations from November 2020 to February 2021. Additionally, during an internship at Airtel Rwanda from May 2020 to November 2020, Ineza contributed to user acceptance testing and product testing in the merger of Tigo and Airtel Rwanda. Ineza holds a Master in Mathematical Sciences for Climate Resilience from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences-Rwanda and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Rwanda.
