Eric Samarut

Eric Samarut is a co-founder and scientific director at Osta Therapeutics since January 2022 and serves as an assistant professor at Université de Montréal from July 2022. Eric is also a researcher and has held a postdoctoral researcher position at the Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM) since April 2014. Previously, Eric co-founded Modelis inc., where Eric served as Chief Scientific Officer from July 2018 to February 2023, a company dedicated to supporting drug discovery projects. Eric completed a PhD in Biology at the University of Strasbourg and an MBA in Science and Engineering from École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM). Further education includes master's degrees in Biosciences and Cellular and Molecular Biology from École normale supérieure de Lyon and online certificates in Clinical Pharmacology and Gene Therapy from Harvard Medical School in early 2023.
