Hanna Sherrill, PhD, currently serves as a Program Facilitator at the University City Science Center since July 2022 and as a Research Scientist for the New Jersey Department of Health since July 2021. Previously, Hanna was an Eagleton Science and Politics Fellow at the Eagleton Institute of Politics from July 2020 to July 2021 and a Biology Teacher at Sankofa Freedom Academy Charter School from September 2018 to June 2020, where notable achievements included significant improvements in student growth and state exam passing scores. From August 2011 to December 2017, Hanna held dual roles as a Postdoctoral and Graduate Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, leading independent research projects and fostering collaborative relationships across laboratories. Early research experience includes assistant roles at Ospedale San Raffaele and Smith College. Hanna earned a PhD in Neuroscience from Brown University and a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience and Italian Studies from Smith College.
