Meghan Myron-Karels

Meghan Myron-Karels is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in recruitment, educational program management, and community building. Currently serving as a Recruiter and DEI Lead at UCAR since January 2022, Meghan previously held the position of Director of GALS Futures at the Girls Athletic Leadership School, where 100% of coached students were accepted into post-secondary programs over four years. Other roles include Residence Hall Director at the University of Colorado Boulder and Area Director at the University of St. Thomas, focusing on community engagement and support for first-generation college students. Early experience includes a Graduate Programming Assistant at the American University LGBTQ Resource Center, where event programming and outreach were key responsibilities. Meghan holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Women's Studies from Luther College.
