Michael Henry

Michael Henry is a seasoned professional in government relations and science policy, currently serving as the Director of Government Relations at UCAR, where leadership in policy and advocacy for NCAR and the broader Earth system science community is provided. Previous experience includes a role as a Senior Policy Analyst at NASA, focusing on the Earth Science Division, and leadership positions at the American Institute of Physics, where management of the FYI Science Policy Bulletin was a key responsibility. Earlier roles at UCAR involved managing federal policy and advocacy efforts and supporting national climate scientists and educators. Michael Henry began a career in public service as a Legislative Correspondent for U.S. Senator Benjamin L.
