Dionne Carter

Dionne Carter currently serves as the Associate Chief Health Equity Officer, Diversity Recruitment Officer, and Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at University Health KC since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Cerner Corporation as Director of Talent Acquisition CGS and Senior Program Manager for Global Integrated Talent & Diversity from April 2021 to July 2022. From 2011 to 2019, Dionne held the position of Director of Travel Operations at Global Benefits Group, overseeing operational responsibilities and staff management. Prior to that, Dionne was the Senior Human Resources Recruiter at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Manager of Diversity at Lee Memorial Health System, where a comprehensive Diversity strategy was developed for a large workforce. Early career experience includes serving as Diversity Coordinator at Greenville Hospital System. Dionne holds a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of South Carolina Upstate.
