Daverick Isaac

Daverick Isaac is the current Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Community First Health Plans, Inc. at University Health System. Daverick has over fifteen years of experience in finance and accounting, and has been instrumental in several post-transition initiatives throughout their career.

Isaac began their career as a controller for Ricochet Fuel Distributors, Inc. from June 2014 to September 2015. Daverick was then hired as the Director of Finance for Baylor Scott & White Heath Plan from January 2019 to January 2020. In this role, they were responsible for leading and overseeing all finance and accounting operations, billing, financial planning and analysis, and annual audits for a company with a total annual revenue of $550MM. Daverick reported directly to the CFO and served as a key member of the senior leadership team.

During their time at Baylor Scott & White Heath Plan, Isaac played an instrumental role in the company’s post-transition initiatives. Daverick led the efforts to transition and combine the finance and accounting for FirstCare Health Plans into Scott & White Health Plan. Daverick also spearhead filing and regulatory compliance in coordination with the Texas Department of Insurance and Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Additionally, they directed the preparation and timely distribution of all GAAP financial statements, quarterly and annual financial statements, and financial statistical reports in accordance with internal and external obligations. Isaac leveraged their strategic leadership skills to manage and oversee the work of 14 staff across all three departments.
