Dharshni Ramar

Dharshni Ramar is currently a PGY1 Internal Medicine Resident at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, starting in March 2024. As a founding member of BackStage IMG since February 2023, Dharshni Ramar contributes to a podcast created by four International Medical Graduates discussing the complexities of the USMLE. Previous experience includes serving as a Duty Medical Officer at Kauvery Hospital and completing clinical rotations at Wellstar Health System, Tampa General Hospital, and Cleveland Clinic in early 2023. Earlier roles feature intern physician positions at Civil Hospital Sola Ahmedabad and research assistant at Care Institute of Medical Sciences, alongside frontline COVID-19 healthcare work at G M E R S Medical College. Education culminated in a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from G M E R S Medical College, Ahmedabad, completed in April 2022.
