Gary Warner

Gary Warner is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat intelligence and computer forensics. Currently serving as the Director of Threat Intelligence at DarkTower since May 2018, Warner focuses on disrupting crime through cyber intelligence. In addition, Gary has been the Director of Research in Computer Forensics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since July 2007, where responsibilities include teaching and managing a lab that offers investigative services to various partners. Warner's previous roles include Chief Threat Scientist at PhishMe, Inc. and Chief Technologist at Malcovery Security, where efforts centered on analyzing cyber threats and understanding criminal behaviors. Through leadership positions such as Co-Chair of the Anti-Phishing Working Group and President of Birmingham InfraGard, Gary has significantly contributed to strengthening collaborations between law enforcement and private sectors for cybersecurity resilience. Educational background includes a BS in Computer Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
