Carlos Velazquez

Carlos Velazquez is a Full Professor at the University of Alberta, where the academic career has spanned from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor since October 2008, focusing on research, teaching, and service. Prior to this role, Carlos served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute at Frederick from October 2005 to October 2008. Carlos earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Alberta between 2001 and 2005, and previously obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in the same field from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 1994 to 1997.
