Jason Dyck

Canada Research Chair In Molecular Medicine at University of Alberta

Jason Dyck is a Professor at the University of Alberta and holds the title of Canada Research Chair in Molecular Medicine since July 1999. Dyck served as Chief Science Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at Australis Capital Inc. from November 2020 to November 2022 and was on the Board of Directors for Nutritional High International Inc. from June 2020 to June 2022. Dyck held the position of Vice President of Research at MMRL from 1999 until November 2020 and was also on the Board of Directors for Aurora Cannabis Inc. from March 2015 to September 2020. In 2007, Dyck was recognized as an alumnus of Canada's Top 40 Under 40. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Alberta (1990-1995), a post-doctoral fellowship in AMPK Biology at Dartmouth College (1995-1996), and a post-doctoral fellowship in Molecular Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine (1997-1999).
