Jill Bagwe

Jill Bagwe is an experienced operations manager currently serving as the Operations Manager for the Faculty of Science and Assistant Chair (Administration) for the Department of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences at the University of Alberta since September 2018. With a background in business management across various academic departments, Jill has effectively managed budgets, research funds, and donor relations while ensuring compliance with university policies. Previous roles include VP of Operations at Onlea and Assistant Chair for both the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Computing Science at the University of Alberta. Notably, Jill co-created and launched a computing science summer camp and a high school internship program in 2006, both of which continue to operate successfully. Jill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Alberta.
