Gavin Edwards

Gavin Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gavin is currently working at the University of Bath, where they have held multiple positions including Chief Data & Technology Officer and Chief Data Officer. Prior to this, they worked at IAAPS - Advancing Propulsion as an Operations and IT Director. In 2018, they worked as a Programme Director at the University of Bath. Before that, they had a long tenure at WMG, University of Warwick, where they held roles such as Programme Manager and Digital Technology Manager. Gavin also founded their own company, EB2 Solutions Ltd, where they served as the Owner. Earlier in their career, they worked as an IT Architect at The National B2B Centre, an Information Analyst at EDS, and a Software Engineer at SPSS (UK) Limited.

Gavin Edwards attended Madeley High School from 1990 to 1995, where they completed their GCSEs in English, Eng. Literature, Maths, Science, French, History, Design & Technology, and Information Systems. Gavin then enrolled at Newcastle-under-Lyme Sixth Form College from 1995 to 1997, pursuing A-Levels in Maths, Physics, Economics, and Computing. Afterwards, they studied Computer Science at Staffordshire University from 1997 to 2001, earning a BSc (Hons) degree. Gavin Edwards also holds various certifications, including Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered IT Professional (CITP), ITIL 4 Foundation Level, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS), and PRINCE2 Certified Practitioner.
