Roy Johnston

Roy Johnston is a Professor of Computational Chemistry at the University of Birmingham, a position held since August 1995. Prior to this, Roy Johnston held various academic positions at the University of Sussex from October 1989 to July 1995, including Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Reader in Computational Chemistry. Roy Johnston also worked as a Royal Society University Research Fellow at The University of Arizona from 1988 to 1989 and completed SERC NATO Postdoctoral Fellowships at Cornell University from 1987 to 1988. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Chemistry, both earned at the University of Oxford, with the DPhil completed in 1987 and the B.A. in 1983.
