Kiran Sithamparapillai

Trustee at University of Bristol

Kiran Sithamparapillai is a student member of the Board of Trustees. He is a law student at the University and President of the University of Bristol Law Club. Kiran has been an active student throughout his time at Bristol, including serving as Vice-President of the Wills Hall JCR in his first year, serving as Government and Politics Editor of the Law Club’s ‘Dicta’ magazine and serving as an editor of the Bristol Law Review.

Kiran thoroughly enjoys the student experience of living in Bristol. He is a trustee and non-executive director at the University of Bristol Students’ Union and a governor at a primary school in Bristol.

Kiran is delighted to be joining the Board at such an important and challenging time for the higher education sector and its students. He looks forward to contributing to the University’s strategy, particularly around delivering an excellent student experience, furthering the University’s world-class research and maintaining and developing Bristol’s position as a leading institution both in the UK and around the world.
