Angela Champ

Angela Champ serves as the Interim Vice President of Operations at Libro Credit Union since January 2025 and has been a Continuing Education Instructor at the University of Calgary since April 2022, teaching courses in employee relations and recruitment. Previously, Angela held the position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Alpine Building Maintenance from October 2020 to August 2023, where responsibilities included developing HR strategies to support growth and implementing key HR processes. Other notable roles include Chief Human Resources Officer at Prospera Credit Union, Vice President of Human Resources at Intact Financial Corporation, and Director of Human Resources at Lafarge Canada Inc. Angela has also contributed to initiatives supporting women in non-traditional careers through board involvement with Women Building Futures and leadership in Lean In Canada. Angela holds an MBA from Royal Roads University and various certifications in workplace mental health, adult education, and strategy from prestigious institutions.
