Elizabeth Romero

Assistant Vice Chancellor for Government & Community Relations at University of California, Riverside

Elizabeth Romero has dedicated their career to public service. Elizabeth began their work in government and community relations at Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, where they served as Director of Community and Government Relations for Riverside County. In this role, they worked with the Riverside County Board of Education to develop and implement educational programs that would best serve the students of the county.

In October 2016, Elizabeth was named Assistant Vice Chancellor for Government and Community Relations at the University of California, Riverside. In this role, they are responsible for representing the university to local, state, and federal government officials, as well as coordinating the university’s efforts with community organizations. Elizabeth is committed to ensuring that the University of California, Riverside is a engaged and active member of the Riverside community.

Elizabeth Romero has a Master of Politics, Economics & Business from Claremont Graduate University, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from University of California, Riverside, and Liberal Arts from College of the Desert.
