Patricia Morton is an accomplished Associate Professor of Architectural History and Theory at the University of California, Riverside, where Patricia has served since 1993 and currently chairs the Urban Studies Minor. Notably, Patricia held leadership roles as President of the Society of Architectural Historians from April 2018 to May 2024 and as Editor in Chief of the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians from September 2013 to December 2017. Patricia's professional experience as an architect includes a significant renovation project of Carnegie Hall with James Stewart Polshek and Partners from December 1983 to April 1987. Educationally, Patricia earned a Ph.D. in the History of Architecture from Princeton University, an M.Arch. in Architecture from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, and a BA in Architecture from Yale University.
