Peter Delfyett

Peter Delfyett, Ph.D., holds the position of University Trustee Chair Professor of Optics, Electrical Engineering, and Physics at CREOL, The College of Optics & Photonics at the University of Central Florida. Additionally, Peter serves as a Professor at the University of Central Florida and as Editor in Chief of the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics. Formerly, Peter was a Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Communications Research and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute of Ultrafast Spectroscopy and Lasers at The City College of New York. Peter Delfyett earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York.
